Course Overview

Data Science for Class 10 for CBSE includes all the Syllabus and the content provided by CBSE through Handbooks and Facilitators.

As a first step in this direction, the CBSE introduced Data Science (DS) as a skill subject at Class IX from the 2021-2022 session onwards. Also, to enhance the analytical mindset in teaching-learning and to help the new generation make sense of the vast information around them, it was encouraged that schools introduce basic data literacy concepts in earlier grades. CBSE has extended this subject to class X as well from the Session 2025-2026.
