Answered: _____ is not a Learning-based Approach where the AI model gets trained on the data fed to it and then is able to design a model which is adaptive to the change in data.

(d) Enforcement Learning

Explanation

Supervised Learning: This is a learning-based approach where the AI model is trained on a labeled dataset. The model learns to map inputs to outputs based on those labels and can adapt as it sees more data.

Unsupervised Learning: In this approach, the model finds patterns or structures in data that is not labeled. It also qualifies as a learning-based method since the model adapts based on the data’s inherent structure.

Reinforcement Learning: This is another learning-based approach where the model learns by interacting with an environment and receiving rewards or punishments. Over time, it adapts its behavior to maximize rewards.

Enforcement Learning: Unlike the above, "Enforcement Learning" is not a recognized method in the AI or machine learning domain. It is likely a distractor in this question. As such, it does not represent a valid learning-based approach where the model adapts based on data or feedback.

Thus, Enforcement Learning is the one that is not a learning-based approach.

Answered: Give an example where High Accuracy is not usable.

Let us go back to the Forest Fire example. Assume that the model always predicts that there is no fire.

But in reality, there is a 2% chance of forest fire breaking out. In this case, for 98 cases, the model will be right but for those 2 cases in which there was a forest fire, then too the model predicted no fire.

Here,

True Positives = 0

True Negatives = 98

Total cases = 100

Therefore, accuracy becomes: (98 + 0) / 100 = 98%

This is a fairly high accuracy for an AI model.

But this parameter is useless for us as the actual cases where the fire broke out are not taken into account.

Hence, there is a need to look at another parameter which takes account of such cases as well known as precision.

Answered: Give some examples of AI Bias

‍1. Amazon’s algorithm discriminated against women:

Employment is one of the most common areas for bias to manifest in modern life. Despite progress over the past couple of decades, women are still underrepresented in roles relating to STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). According to Deloitte, for example, women accounted for less than a quarter of technical roles in 2020.

That wasn’t helped by Amazon’s automated recruitment system, which was intended to evaluate applicants based on their suitability for various roles. The system learned how to judge if someone was suitable for a role by looking at resumes from previous candidates. Sadly, it became biased against women in the process.

Because women had previously been underrepresented in technical roles, the AI system thought that male applicants were consciously preferred. Consequently, it penalized resumes from female applicants with a lower rating. Despite making changes, it was no surprise that Amazon eventually ditched the initiative in 2017.

2. COMPAS race bias with reoffending rates:

It’s not just gender bias that can be reflected by artificial intelligence. There are several AI bias examples relating to race too.

The Correctional Offender Management Profiling for Alternative Sanctions (COMPAS) predicted the likelihood that US criminals would re-offend. In 2016, ProPublica investigated COMPAS and found that the system was far more likely to say black defendants were at risk of reoffending than their white counterparts.

While it correctly predicted reoffending at a rate of around 60% for both black and white defendants, COMPAS:

Misclassified almost twice as many black defendants (45%) as higher risk compared to white defendants (23%)

Mistakenly labeled more white defendants as low risk, who then went on to reoffend – 48% white defendants compared to 28% black defendants

Classified black defendants as higher risk when all other variables (such as prior crimes, age, and gender) were controlled – 77% more likely than white defendants.

3. US healthcare algorithm underestimated black patients’ needs:

AI can also reflect racial prejudices in healthcare, which was the case for an algorithm used by US hospitals. Used for over 200 million people, the algorithm was designed to predict which patients needed extra medical care. It analyzed their healthcare cost history – assuming that cost indicates a person’s healthcare needs.

However, that assumption didn’t account for the different ways in which black and white patients pay for healthcare. A 2019 paper in Science explains how black patients are more likely to pay for active interventions like emergency hospital visits – despite showing signs of uncontrolled illnesses.

As a result, black patients:

Received lower risk scores than their white counterparts

Were put on par with healthier white people in terms of costs

Did not qualify for extra care as much as white patients with the same needs

4. ChatBot Tay shared discriminatory tweets:

While Twitter has made recent headlines due to Elon Musk’s acquisition, Microsoft’s attempt to showcase a chatbot on the platform was even more controversial.

In 2016, they launched Tay, intended to learn from its casual, playful conversations with other users of the app.

Initially, Microsoft noted how “relevant public data” would be “modeled, cleaned and filtered”. However, within 24 hours, the chatbot was sharing tweets that were racist, transphobic and antisemitic. It learned discriminatory behavior from its interactions with users, many of whom were feeding it inflammatory messages.

Script Bot

These bots work on pre-programmed instructions inside the application/machine and are generally easy to develop.

They are deployed in the customer care section of various companies.

Their job is to answer some basic queries that they are coded for and connect them to human executives once they are unable to handle the conversation.

Answered: Classify the following into Smart bot or Script bot accordingly?

There are two types of chatbots: Smart bots and Script bots.

Smart Bots:

Use AI and NLP to generate responses and improve over time.

Examples: Mitsuku Bot, Clever Bot, Jabberwacky, Haptik, and Rose.

Script Bots:

Use pre-programmed scripts for responses.

An example of a script bot is OChatbot, which relies on predetermined responses based on the script it is programmed with.

Answered: What will be the results of conversion of the term, ‘happily’ in the process of stemming and lemmatization? Which process takes longer time for execution?

Word

Stemming

Lemmatization

Happily

happi

happy

Process that takes longer time for execution is lemmatization, because the word generated (lemma) is a meaning full word, and doing that needs high level processing.

(½ marks each for identifying the correct stem and lemma; 1 mark for identifying the correct process)

A vocabulary of words for the corpus

The frequency of these words (number of times it has occurred in the whole corpus)

Solution :

i) How could you classify the system to solve this problem?

Conduct a review of past support tickets to identify common issues and categorize them according to the proposed criteria

Develop clear guidelines and examples for each category of ticket

Work with the ticket management system provider to implement the necessary changes and prompts to ensure proper categorization of tickets

Train support team members and users on the new categorization criteria and ticket submission process.

ii) Create a 4W Project Canvas for this purpose

Who:

IT company's support team and ticket system users

What:

Establishing clear criteria and guidelines for categorizing support tickets into Urgent, Important, and Business as Usual

Implementing a ticket management system that prompts users to select the appropriate category when submitting a support ticket

Why:

To improve response time and ensure proper prioritization of support tickets based on their impact on business operations

Where:

Within the IT company's support team and ticket management system

When:

Within the next 3 months

Answered: How to Use ChatGPT: A Step-by-Step Guide with Code Examples

Introduction to ChatGPT: A Comprehensive Guide

ChatGPT is a powerful language model developed by OpenAI that allows users to generate human-like text. It can be used for a variety of tasks such as:

Chatbot development

Language translation

Text summarization

Content generation

Question answering

And more...

In this guide, we will go through the steps of using ChatGPT to generate text, including how to access the API, send requests, and handle responses.

Step 1: Accessing the API

To use ChatGPT, you will first need to access the API endpoint. You can either use the public endpoint provided by OpenAI or host the model on your own infrastructure. The public endpoint can be accessed by signing up for an API key on the OpenAI website.

Once you have your API key, you can use it to access the API endpoint, which is available at the following URL: https://api.openai.com/v1/engines/davinci/completions

Step 2: Sending a Request to the API

Once you have access to the API endpoint, you can send a POST request to generate text. The request body should contain the following parameters:

prompt: The text prompt to generate text for

model: The model to use (e.g. "text-davinci-002")

length: The number of tokens to generate

api_key: Your API key

Here's an example of what a request to the API might look like:

Step 3: Handling the Response

The API will return a JSON object containing the generated text. The generated text can be accessed by calling the "generated_text" property on the returned JSON object. Example:

Additional Resources

For more information on using ChatGPT, you can refer to the API documentation provided by OpenAI. Additionally, for more advanced use cases, you can also use the OpenAI SDK which allows you to interact with the model in a more programmatic way. The SDK provides a high-level interface for working with the API, making it easier to integrate the model into your application. You can find more information and installation instructions on the OpenAI SDK Github page.

Here are detailed solutions for the common errors that users may encounter while using ChatGPT:

1. Data quality issues:

Use a large, diverse, and high-quality dataset to fine-tune the model.

Pre-process the data to remove any biases or inaccuracies.

Verify the quality of the data by manually checking a sample of the data and correct any errors found.

2. Overfitting:

Use a large and diverse dataset to fine-tune the model

Implement techniques such as early stopping, dropout, and regularization to prevent overfitting

3. Poor performance on rare or out-of-vocabulary words:

Use techniques such as sub-word tokenization or character-level models

Use pre-trained models that have been trained on a large corpus of text and fine-tuned on a specific task

4. Limited context understanding:

Use techniques such as bidirectional models or transformer-based models that can take into account the context of a prompt

Use pre-trained models that have been trained on a large corpus of text and fine-tuned on a specific task

5. Computational resources:

Use cloud-based services or specialized hardware such as Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) or Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) to handle the computational requirements

6. Interpretability:

Use techniques such as attention maps and visualization tools to better understand how the model is making its decisions.

Use explainable AI techniques like LIME (Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations)

7. Limited Language support:

Use pre-trained models that have been trained on a large corpus of text in the specific language you're targeting

Fine-tune the model on a dataset of text in the specific language you're targeting

Please note that these are general solutions to the common errors that users may encounter while using ChatGPT, and it may not be applicable to every specific use case.

Answered: Most Important FAQs Regarding AI Chat GPT

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a large language model developed by OpenAI that can generate human-like text. It is based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture and has been trained on a massive amount of text data.

How does ChatGPT work?

ChatGPT uses a deep neural network with a transformer architecture to generate text. It takes in a prompt, or a starting text, and generates a response based on the patterns it learned during training. The model is pre-trained on a large dataset and fine-tuned on specific task-related data.

What are the main features of ChatGPT?

Generates human-like text

Can be fine-tuned for specific tasks

Can be used for applications such as language translation, question answering, and text summarization.

Can generate text in many languages.

What are the advantages of using ChatGPT?

Can reduce the amount of manual work required for text generation tasks

Can be used to generate large amounts of text quickly

Can improve the accuracy of text generation tasks

Can be used to generate more natural-sounding text than rule-based systems

What are the limitations of using ChatGPT?

Can generate biased or incorrect text if it has learned biases from the training data

Can generate text that is not coherent or meaningful if the prompt is not well-formed

Can be computationally expensive to run, requiring a powerful GPU or TPU

Can be difficult to interpret the reasoning behind its generated text.

Answered: Write 4w canvas for problem pollution

The 4W Canvas is a framework that helps to break down a problem into its key components. Here's an example of how it can be applied to the problem of pollution:

What: Pollution is the presence or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects.

Who: Pollution affects everyone, but it disproportionately affects marginalized communities, low-income individuals, and people living in urban areas. It also affects different species of animals and plants.

Where: Pollution can occur in any environment, including air, water, soil, and the built environment. It can also happen in both urban and rural areas.

Why: Pollution is caused by human activities such as industrial processes, transportation, and energy production. It also results from natural events like volcanic eruptions and wildfires.

How: To address pollution, we can take actions such as:

Reducing our use of fossil fuels

Encouraging the use of renewable energy sources

Improving public transportation

Implementing regulations and laws to limit the amount of pollution that businesses and industries can produce

Promoting recycling and waste reduction

Educating the public about pollution and how to reduce their impact.

This 4W Canvas is a framework to look at the problem of pollution, and it can help to identify the main components of the problem and potential solutions.

B) Data Acquisition

Data acquisition is the stage in the AI project cycle where data from multiple sources is collected, cleared and aggregated in a suitable format and normalized.

This is an important step as the quality and quantity of data will greatly impact the performance and accuracy of the AI models developed in later stages of the project.

Data can be collected from a variety of sources such as databases, sensors, and external sources such as social media or publicly available datasets.

This data must be cleaned and preprocessed to ensure that it is in a format that can be used by the AI models in the next stages.

1

log(3/1)

Step 4: The formula of TFIDF for any word W becomes: TFIDF(W) = TF(W) * log (IDF(W))

For example, for the word "amit" in Document 2:

TF(W) = 1 (occurs once in the document)

IDF(W) = log(3/2) (occurs in 2 out of 3 documents)

TFIDF(W) = 1 * log(3/2) = 0.176

Similarly, you can calculate the TF-IDF values for all the words in the documents.

Note that the term frequency table, document frequency table, and inverse document frequency table are all tables that are used

Confusion Matrix is the performance measurement for machine learning classification problem where output can be 2 or more classes.

Explanation:

There are a number of different performance measures that can be used to evaluate the performance of a classification model on a multiclass classification problem, where the output can take on two or more classes, they all together are called confusion matrix. Some common measures include:

Accuracy: This is the most common evaluation metric for classification problems. It is the proportion of correct predictions made by the model, with respect to the total number of predictions.

Precision: This is the proportion of true positive predictions made by the model, with respect to all positive predictions made by the model.

Recall: This is the proportion of true positive predictions made by the model, with respect to all actual positive instances in the dataset.

F1 Score: This is the harmonic mean of precision and recall. It is a good metric to use when you want to balance precision and recall.

Answered: What is tokenization? Count how many tokens are present in the following statement: I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seems to have.

Tokenization is the process of breaking a piece of text into smaller units called tokens. These tokens can be words, punctuation marks, or other types of characters. Tokenization is an important step in many natural language processing tasks, such as text classification and machine translation, because it allows the computer to more easily process and analyze the text.

In the statement "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seems to have," there are 11 tokens. There are eight words ("I", "find", "that", "the", "harder", "I", "work", "the") and three punctuation marks (" ", ",", " ").

There are 11 tokens in the sentence "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have."

In the context of natural language processing, a token is a unit of text that is typically defined as either a word or punctuation mark. In this sentence, there are eight words ("I", "find", "that", "the", "harder", "I", "work", "the") and three punctuation marks (" ", ",", " "). Therefore, there are a total of 11 tokens.

Answered: Out of 60 pictures of tiger cubs and kittens, of which 45 were kitten, how many tiger cubs must be model identify correctly along with 35 kitten images correctly identified so that the accuracy is more than75%?

To determine the number of tiger cubs that must be correctly identified, we need to set up an equation that represents the condition that the accuracy must be more than 75%. The accuracy is calculated as the number of correctly identified images divided by the total number of images.

In this case, the total number of images is 60, and the number of correctly identified images is 35 kittens plus the number of correctly identified tiger cubs. We can represent this as the equation:

(35 + tiger cubs) / 60 > 0.75

To solve for the number of tiger cubs, we can multiply both sides of the equation by 60 and simplify:

35 + tiger cubs > 45

Subtracting 35 from both sides gives us:

tiger cubs > 10

So, to achieve an accuracy of more than 75%, the model must correctly identify at least 11 tiger cubs.

In the given statement, "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seems to have," there are 15 tokens. The individual tokens are: "I," "find," "that," "the," "harder," "I," "work," "," "the," "more," "luck," "I," "seems," and "to," "have."

It's worth noting that the tokenization process can vary depending on the specific language and the intended use of the tokens. For example, in natural language processing tasks, it is common to treat punctuation marks as separate tokens, while in other contexts they may be grouped with the adjacent words.
